STEPHENS CEMETERY


Stephens Cemetery is located in Section 7 of Sheridan Township in northern Logan County. It consists of one stone with multiple names on it. When the volunteers from the Decatur Genealogical Society walked the cemeteries 40 years ago they noted that "14 headstones are in a pile, of these, only 4 are initialed: S.A.B., A.M.S., H.F.S., H.F.L." The stones are quite old and difficult to read. The photos were taken by Jane DeWitt.
